Hey there,

I'm Adam (they/any), a graduate student completing my MSW at the University of Washington. Before going back to school, I spent years as a 1:1 teacher, job coach, and disability advocate. During that time, I supported youth and adults who deal with anxiety, addiction, difficult relationship dynamics, and identity issues. Drawing on personal experience, my work is person-focused and I believe that everyone deserves to feel valued and heard, no matter what path they have taken through life.

I bring an affirmational lens to my work and am especially passionate about supporting people navigating chronic illness, anxiety, and neurodivergence. In practice I draw on several different therapeutic styles, including CBT/DBT, Internal Family Systems, and psychodynamic therapy. Most importantly, I believe that each client’s individual needs are paramount and strive to create a space where you can feel safe to heal.

I am originally from a small town in Washington but spent several years living in Southern California before returning to the Pacific Northwest and settling in Seattle. Outside of my work, I enjoy playing guitar and piano, exploring the city and hanging out with my two cats.
