Anxiety, Depression & ADHD Support in Seattle

A safe, affirming space to feel understood — and start making real change.

Hey there, I’m Teija

I’m a licensed mental health counselor associate serving Washington.

Finding the right therapist matters. Whether this is your first time in therapy or you're returning after a past experience that didn't quite fit, I'll meet you exactly where you are — no judgment, just support.

Common Concerns I Help With

Clients often come to therapy experiencing:

  • Anxiety & Chronic Stress – racing thoughts, worry, overwhelm, or feeling constantly "on edge"

  • Depression & Low Motivation – sadness, numbness, loss of interest, or difficulty getting through daily tasks

  • ADHD – difficulty with focus, follow-through, and building systems that actually work for how your brain operates

You do not need a diagnosis to begin therapy. Many clients simply want a space to better understand themselves and feel more grounded.

What Therapy Can Help You Build

  • Greater emotional awareness and self-compassion

  • Healthier coping strategies and emotional regulation skills

  • Improved confidence in navigating daily challenges

  • Practical tools for lasting, meaningful change

  • A stronger sense of self-understanding

Therapy is not about "fixing" you — it's about creating space to understand yourself more fully and develop tools that support the life you want to live.

Inclusive, Respectful, and Confidential Care

Clients of all cultural backgrounds, identities, and belief systems are welcome. LGBTQ+ affirming therapy is an integral part of the practice, with attention to creating a space where you can show up as your full self without judgment.

Getting Started

Beginning therapy is often the hardest part. The first session focuses on understanding your goals, answering questions, and determining whether the fit feels right for you. There is no pressure to have everything figured out — curiosity and openness are enough.

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) – emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and relationship skills

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) – building psychological flexibility and aligning actions with your values

  • Person-Centered / Humanistic Care – empathy, authenticity, and meeting you where you are

The focus is both reflective and practical: gaining insight while also learning skills you can use outside of therapy.
