Individual Therapy for Adults (18+)

Support for Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, and Emotional Well-Being

Reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply ready for change, you don’t have to navigate it alone. Individual counseling offers a confidential space to slow down, understand what you’re experiencing, and build practical tools that support your day-to-day life.

Hey there, I’m Sydney.

I strive to help clients learn how to notice, feel, and accept their emotions without harsh self-criticism, while also identifying meaningful steps toward the life they want to live. Therapy with me is both reflective and practical — a balance of insight, skill-building, and compassionate support.

Our emotions are a core part of what makes us human, yet many of us were never taught how to understand or work with them in a healthy way. I believe therapy can be a space to slow down, make sense of what you’re feeling, and develop practical tools that help you move through life with more clarity and confidence. My role is to create a safe, supportive environment where you can explore your experiences without judgment and build skills that extend beyond our sessions.

Common Concerns I Help With

Clients often come to therapy experiencing:

  • Anxiety & Chronic Stress – racing thoughts, worry, panic, burnout, or feeling constantly “on edge”

  • Depression & Low Motivation – sadness, numbness, loss of interest, or difficulty getting through daily tasks

  • Trauma & PTSD – past experiences that continue to affect your sense of safety, relationships, or self-worth

  • Bipolar Disorder – mood fluctuations, emotional intensity, and strategies for stability

  • Personality Disorders & Emotional Regulation – patterns that feel hard to change, relationship challenges, and building healthier coping skills

  • LGBTQ+ Affirming Care – identity exploration, minority stress, coming out, or navigating relationships and community

You do not need a diagnosis to begin therapy. Many clients simply want a space to better understand themselves and feel more grounded.

What Therapy Can Help You Build

  • Greater emotional awareness and self-compassion

  • Healthier coping strategies

  • Improved communication and boundaries

  • Increased confidence and clarity in decision-making

  • A stronger sense of identity and direction

Therapy is not about “fixing” you — it’s about creating space to understand yourself more fully and develop tools that support the life you want to live.

Getting Started

Beginning therapy is often the hardest part. The first session focuses on understanding your goals, answering questions, and determining whether the fit feels right for you. There is no pressure to have everything figured out — curiosity and openness are enough.

Curious if we would be a good fit?

I offer a brief, no-pressure consultation to answer questions and talk through next steps. Alternatively, feel free to reach out to us to learn more.
