Common Concerns I Help With
Clients often come to therapy feeling:
Trapped in cycles of worry, overthinking, or intrusive thoughts
Overwhelmed by perfectionism, self-criticism, or pressure to perform
Struggling with food, eating patterns, or body image
Uncertain about who they are or where they’re headed
Emotionally exhausted, disconnected, or stuck during a transition
If this resonates, you’re not alone — and support can help.
Therapy for Teens & Young Adults in Seattle
Support for anxiety, OCD, eating disorders, and identity struggles during life transitions.
You don’t have to have everything figured out to start therapy.
Hey there, I’m Simmi.
I work with teens and young adults who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from themselves — often while navigating anxiety, OCD, eating concerns, or big life transitions. Many of my clients are thoughtful, capable young people who are struggling quietly and want support that feels both practical and compassionate.
Who I Work With
I specialize in working with:
Teens and young adults
Individuals struggling with anxiety, OCD, and depression
Clients experiencing eating disorders or body image concerns
Young people exploring self-esteem, identity, and sense of self
Those navigating major transitions (school changes, early adulthood, family or relational shifts)
I am a female therapist of color and aim to provide a space that is culturally responsive, affirming, and grounded in respect for each client’s lived experience.
What It’s Like to Work With Me
My approach to therapy is:
Warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental
Both structured and flexible, depending on what you need
Focused on building insight and practical skills
I draw from CBT, DBT, and Narrative therapy, helping clients:
Understand patterns that contribute to anxiety, OCD, or disordered eating
Learn tools for managing emotions, thoughts, and behaviors
Develop a more compassionate and grounded sense of self
Feel more confident navigating change and uncertainty
I have experience working with young people on these concerns and tailor therapy to meet each client where they are.
